PAOK started better the game and took the lead from the first quarter. The game was interrupted in the 11th minute because home fans threw fireworks at PAOK's bench. This interruption helped Budućnost to balance the game and the half time finished almost equal. The third quarter was crucial when PAOK created again a difference of 10 points, that kept until the end. In the last minute Budućnost approached PAOK to four points but DJ Cooper scored another crucial three pointer and Charalampidis didn't miss the free throws, so PAOK won the game.
