AEK BC signed Dušan Šakota. The 28 years old Serbian Greek forward started his career with Panathinaikos where he played for six years, with an one year break when he was on loan to Panionios. Šakota then moved to Italy for Victoria Libertas Pesaro but he didn't finish the season due to an injury which led to a medical coma after an incorect medical exam and surgery.
