Rethymno Aegean signed Damian Hollis. The 26 years old American-Hungarian forward started the season in Italy for Pallacanestro Cantù but was released after the team signed Metta World Peace (Ron Artest). Hollis graduated from George Washington where he played in the NCAA with the Colonials. He signed his first professional contract in Belgium but did not play and then moved to Hungary where he played one season with Albacomp Fehérvár. Then he moved to Italy where he played one season for Angelico Biella.
Hollis was member of the USA Under 19 Men's National Basketball team and in 2007 he won the Silver medal in FIBA Under-19 World Championship. Since he moved to Hungary he is a member of the Hungarian Men's National Basketall team.
