Rethymno Aegean hosted and beat AEK for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 twenty fourth day. AEK was leading the score for 36 minutes but Rethymno with an 8-0 run in the last minutes (and the technical foul of Mensah-Bonsu, who was fouled out) stole the victory since Scottie Wilbekin missed the last shot. Rethymno Aegean had 2/13 three pointers, but also had ten more offensive rebounds (16-6) and only 8 team turnovers, while AEK had 13 missed free throws (17/30). Great game by Roeland Schaftenaar, with 27 points and 6 rebounds. The Dutch blocked Pops Mensah-Bonsu who collected 9 rebounds but scored only 6 points, made 5 turnovers before being fouled out. For Rethymno Faye had 9 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks, Vincent Council served 6 assists, Giannis Kalampokis had 17 points. For AEK Malik Hairston had 22 points and 7 fouls drawn, Dusan Sakota had 14 points, Carl English had 11 points with 1/5 three pointers, Wilbekin served 5 assists but did not pass the ball for the last crucial shot.
