Apollon Patras signed Dimitris Verginis. The 28 years old Greek guard penned an one year contract with Apollon. In the previous season Verginis played for Panionios averaging 9.4 points and 2.2 assists per game. The player had won a triple crown with Panathinaikos, is the younger captain ever of the Basket League Greece since he was named captain of PAOK in 2007-2008, and has also played for Aris and for Lukoil Academic in Bulgaria.
