AEK sign Yannick Franke
AEK sign Yannick Franke for three years. The 20 years old Dutch guard agreed terms with Promitheas in September but the two sides parted ways before signing a contract. Franke started his professional career with Zorg en Zekerheid Leiden. In
2013 Franke moved to Challenge Sports Rotterdam and in his second year
he became the youngest scoring champion in the history of the Dutch DBL,
averaging 19.6 points per game. In the next season Franke moved to
Donar Groningen, which was his last team in the Netherlands as in the
next season he moved to Finland for Bisons Loimaa. With Bisons Loimaa
Franke averaged 15.7 points, 5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. Franke
was a member of the Netherlands National Basketball team that
participated in the Eurobasket 2017 Qualifications, averaging 9.8
points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist per game in the tournament.
