AEK sign Vasilis Xanthopoulos. The 33 years old Greek guard penned a two years contract with AEK. Xanthopoulos started his career with Olympiacos and played for Near East before moving to Panathinaikos in 2004. Xanthopoulos has played for PAOK, Panellinions, Panionios, and Aris in Greece and with Obradoiro in Spain. Xanthopoulos has won 3 Greek Championships, 3 Greek Cups and 1 Euroleague with Panathinaikos. In 2011 he averaged 4.1 assists per game with Panionios, ranking first in the domestic league.
