Apollon Patras sign Alex Acker. The 34-year-old American guard returns to Greece after the 2006-2007 season when he played for Olympiacos. Acker graduated from Pepperdine and was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the last pick in the second round (60th overall) of the 2005 NBA draft. He has played professional basketball in Poland with Asseco, in Spain with Barcelona, in Turkey with Istanbul BBSK, in France with Limoges, ASVEL, Le Mans and Boulazac Basket, in the NBA with LA Clippers and in the NBA G League with Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
