Veniamin Amposi Heads to the San Francisco Dons

The youngest player to have ever donned the Olympiacos jersey in the EuroLeague (17 years and 24 days old) has decided to test his skills in the NCAA with the San Francisco Dons, where he will play for the next two years.

Veniamin Amposi, born on January 15, 2006, stands at 1.96 meters (6 feet 5 inches) and plays as a shooting guard. Amposi made history by becoming the youngest player to play for Olympiacos in the EuroLeague. He is recognized as one of the brightest talents in Greek basketball.

Amposi's accolades include being named MVP in the Greek Youth Championship, which he won with Olympiacos. During the last season, he played in four games with the men's team, albeit with limited minutes. His standout performances in the EuroLeague Next Gen tournament in Paris earned him a spot in the All-Tournament Team.

His overall performance included 31 total rebounds, 22 assists, and 17 turnovers over 140 minutes of play.

Amposi chose the San Francisco Dons over offers from three other colleges.
